Melanie, now 30, was born in Port Charlotte, Florida and raised in Virginia, MN.  She went to school at Mesabi Community College and received an Associates of Arts degree.  She then moved to Duluth in 1993 where attended UMD and has lived and worked ever since.  Melanie loves Duluth and it's shores on the great Lake Superior.  Melanie currently works at Uniprise (United Health Care) as a appeals coordinator.  Melanie is looking forward to starting a family soon after she and Leonard are married.  She is a world traveler who looks forward to showing Leonard new and exciting places within the United States as well as around the world.

Leonard, now 31, has lived in Duluth most of his life. He was born in Duluth, MN where he completed school at UMD in 1995.  Upon graduating from college, Leonard packed up and headed to Chicago to work for a friend's consulting firm in Chicago.  In 1997 he moved back to Duluth to the be near family and friends.  In the fall of 1997 he found employment with Compudyne, a professional computer firm in Duluth and Hibbing, MN.  He has been employed with Compudyne as an account representative ever since.  Leonard enjoys the challenges of information technology and developing relationships with his customers.  Leonard loves to hunt with his family and friends in Northern Minnesota.  He looks forward to sharing in this love by exploring more of Northern Minnesota with his soon to be wife, Melanie.  Leonard is also looking forward to starting a family soon after he and Melanie are married.
